Hello there! Today I’d like to pay some attention to a few of my decks that underwent a few changes, decks that demand changes, and even some decks that turned out to be pretty awesome. That’s the beauty (or perhaps pitfall) of physical experience with a deck – you never know how your baby will blossom. This week I want to take a look at the New Phyrexia spoilers, a lot of cards which we’ll be seeing in flesh for the first time tomorrow. At least I am! Working on some new decks, it’s funny how I subconsciously started thinking about a lot of the flashier cards I mentioned two times during Mirrodin Besieged-previews. Maybe writing about it did this, maybe it was a natural course of events. There’s the Tezzeret-deck with the singleton Spine of Ish Sah. In more recent developments, I can now write about Shimmer Myr, Galvanoth and Glissa, the Traitor in the context about both new and familiar decks. Continue reading

The first version of every deck I make is mostly theory-based and therefore not initially equipped to do serious battling with. Not everyone can make decklists like PVDDR can, right? So a few days ago I launched the first version of my new white/silver (meaning artifacts) Prototype Portal-deck. I played a bit with it (just goldfish, unfortunately) and now I’m here to share the changes I’ve made.
