TezzeREDRUM, revisited

What most of you don’t know is that I started writing for Red Site Wins after I did so for my own site, Stidjen’s Magic. I started writing before Mirrodin Besieged came out, so I was all over Tezzeret once he got spoiled. There was a bit of holding back, however, as I did not want to geek out over a card that could end up out of my price range. A four mana blue Planeswalker? Hold your horses, gentlemen! My deckbuilding process (part 2 of 2)

Hi there and thanks for checking back here for the second article about the way I build my decks. Showing you a deck and discussing card choices is one thing, explicitly explaining every step along the way is another. I will guide you from rough unpolished idea to the finalized decklist in the way I usually do. Not only do I hope to give you a cool decklist to work with, I hope you’ll be able to take something away from the way I tackle things and how I try to nurture each and every idea that pops in my cranium. Rules of the house

Hi everybody and welcome back! Today I would like to discuss the rules we have established within our group. When you are not playing in a competitive setting, there is absolutely no harm in changing a few things here and there to allow the group to keep having fun, or to have more fun. We have even done this outside of Magic, using the stack when things get blurry in Arkham Horror or Fluxx to solve these issues. But today, I’m gonna go over the house rules we have in our group, why we have them, and why house rules are good for you and your game. Continue reading
